Nick Caros, a PhD candidate and lead researcher at MIT's Urban Mobility Lab, partners with seven transit agencies nationwide to examine the changing transportation requirements of workers in response to remote work policies.
After college, Nick Caros became an engineer at a construction company and played a key role in overseeing the construction of a new highway bridge close to his hometown near Vancouver, British Columbia.
Caros is driven by projects with significant social impact, extending beyond mere time-saving for friends during commutes.
He recognizes public transportation as vital in addressing climate change and is fervent about identifying and reducing psychological barriers that hinder global uptake of local transit systems.
